Update to my previous cold air box. this is version 2 =)
Material and tool:
Sheet metal from HomeDepot.
Sheet metal cutter
Rivot gun, screws
windows molding from pcmodz.com
If you pay close attention, you would notice that I am running RMM intake
(older version of RMM intake)
with SRT racing ECU (race). They work great. My homebuilt Air/fuel mixture
confirmed it.
SRT does not recommend using SRT ECU with other intake,
I found out my combination works fine.
I use the RMM intake because it is quieter than the SRT intake.
But it does not mean that it will work for you.
I do not notice much in performance different between the RMM intake with SRT ECU vs SRT intake and ECU. SRT intake DOES work. It modified the MAF signal of your car
BTW, I did notice a little performance decrease when I have the top of the
aix box on, but I can live with it
Air/fuel Mixture shown:
Cruising speed: 14.7
Light and moderate Acceleration: 13.9
WOT: 13.2
I have an Digital tachnometer, with programmable shift indicator for every
1000 rpm, this will fit exactly into the ashtray,
if you are interested, let me know. I am selling it. got_rice76@yahoo.com
