How to remove your Radio/Cassette Head unit :-)

Small flat screw driver
-10 mm socket

Time: 15min

Same procedure for both NAV or Non-Navigation GS

  1. Remove the AC vent with a flat screw driver, wrap with masking tape (to prevent scratch)

  2. Put the key in, move the gear to D (engine off). This will give you some slack to pull the ashtray out (just pull it out, no bolt or anything)

  3. Now you can put the gear back to park.

  4. Once the AC vent and the ashtray are out, you will see 4 x 10mm screws holding the radio and ac control unit. (note there will be a small plastic pin holding the head unit back (see picture) just pull the head unit, it will pull the plastic part out)
